The next 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali will receive another mid-cycle update. This time, a high-end pickup truck will receive minor cosmetic upgrades. On the other hand, the interior will undergo more radical changes. According to the latest spy photos, this model will receive a variety of enhancements, some of which are quite intriguing.
The first spy photographs are here, allowing us to see the most recent enhancements. Denali is the highest trim level available. While not inexpensive, this model is luxurious. We believe that the pricing reflects the level of comfort and performance accurately. We do not know at this time whether General Motors intends to modify the truck’s dimensions.
2022 Sierra 1500 Denali Exterior Design
The forthcoming 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali will receive minor cosmetic updates. On the other hand, we believe that subtle enhancements are precisely what this truck required. The approaching model will feature revised headlights with a placeholder. As a result, the front section does not require the simple grille swap seen on the current model.
The front fascia appears to be larger, but we have no idea what is concealed beneath the thick camouflage. The spied prototype is equipped with unique 20-inch multi-dimensional polished aluminum wheels and a completely camouflaged rear section. We’re awaiting additional information about Sierra’s design and potential dimension changes.
Interior Refreshments
As previously stated, the 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali will receive numerous interior upgrades. The spy photos demonstrate that the recent stories were not false. While some areas are obscured by the dense camouflage, the majority of the cabin changes are visible at first glance. To begin, this mid-cycle refreshment includes a new push-button start system, which eliminates the need for the previous column-mounted shifter. There are new steering wheels available.
This unit is more contemporary in appearance and features a new row of silver buttons. The Super Cruise indicator is a novel concept. This feature will enable semi-autonomous driving. Additionally, the new 2022 Sierra Denali will feature a new touchscreen mounted above the dash. This also means that the current flat-panel infotainment display won’t be available anymore. As with the Yukon SUV, you can choose between two interior layouts.
Engine Options, Transmission
Under the hood, the majority of the components will remain largely unchanged. This means that the upcoming 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali will continue to provide the same 6.2-liter V8 gasoline engine. Lower trim levels are equipped with a 5.3-liter V8 engine producing 355 horsepower. Denali, on the other hand, is the top-of-the-line trim level with more power.
Its proven V8 engine produces 420 horsepower, and GM offers a brand-new 10-speed automatic transmission. We do not anticipate any increase in power or fuel efficiency. This means that the Sierra Denali will continue in its current form, which is not a bad thing.
2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Price and Release Date
The next 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali is going to cost approximately $65,000. The price is not affordable, but this model is one of the best options in the pickup truck segment. The sales will start next summer, along with the Sierra HD lineup. We await further updates from General Motors.
