The new 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty is receiving significant changes. This heavy-duty truck was recently spotted, and it appears that the next-generation model is on the way. Although it is not yet official, even the most respected sources are writing about the next Super Duty generation. Surprisingly or not, Ford does not follow a logical order when it comes to presenting new-generation cars.
Some Super Duty generations, for example, lasted almost ten years. Other generations were only present for three or four years. In any case, big improvements are on the way, and this model will hit the dealerships this summer. The spied prototype didn’t reveal much, but it did provide enough information for us to draw certain conclusions.

Spy images reveal the 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty with a new front fascia and grille. It also appears that the back bumper and taillights will be completely redesigned. We don’t know what the new Super Duty will look like because Ford is still wrapping its prototypes in heavy camouflage. Ford is unlikely to make any significant alterations to the Super Duty’s door and bed sheet metal.
Nonetheless, Ford concealed the sides of all of its test trucks. The truck’s dimensions will remain intact, although we expect new exterior colors and new optional wheels. Still, we don’t know all of the visual upgrades so we’ll have to wait for the official reveal.
Interior Features
The new 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty will feature a cabin that is similar to that of the previous-gen F-150 truck. Its redesigned steering wheel is identical to that of the newest F-150. The column-mounted shifter is still present, and at least the entry-level trim levels include a digital driver’s display. This heavy-duty truck will be more modern, and it will also offer more upright materials.
Thanks to that, the level of comfort will be improved. On the other hand, the new model will offer the same amount of space as its predecessor. As this is the new-gen model, the F-250 truck will provide new interior color schemes, additional safety gear, and a longer list of standard features.
Engine Lineup Remains Intact
The upcoming 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty will retain the current engine lineup. The 7.3-liter V8 engine is once again offered as standard. This petrol unit can generate 430 horsepower and a torque of 475 lb-ft. As the things are currently, the potent V8 will remain the most powerful gasoline engine in the heavy-duty truck segment. Still, the 6.7-liter PowerStroke turbodiesel choice is the model’s standout feature.
It is a dependable unit that produces up to 1050 lb-ft of torque. We saw gains in torque ratings from the Ram, and Ford may be able to give even more twisting power in the future. Official information will be released by the company in the following weeks, or months.
2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty Price and Release Date
The current F-250 truck starts at $37,500. We think the next-gen 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty will cost slightly above that, which is the most reasonable outcome. The sales will begin in the second half of 2022, most likely in late summer.
