We like the Ram 4500 because of its spacious cabin and massive towing capacity. This model includes a slew of high-tech goodies, including a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The performance is also really good, and we expect to see additional improvements in the coming months.
RAM 4500 Engine Specs
The next 2023 RAM 4500 will be offered with two powertrain options when it goes on sale later this year. The standard engine is a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 producing 410 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque. This unit is only available in a four-wheel-drive system and is paired with an excellent 8-speed automatic transmission. Mixing a well-known turbodiesel Cummins engine with rear- or four-wheel drive systems are possible in a variety of ways.
As a result, the RAM 4500 will develop 370 horsepower and up to 1075 lb-ft of torque. There is also a 6-speed automatic transmission available. The Cummins engine in the RAM 4500 has a towing capacity of 37,000 pounds and a payload capacity of roughly 8000 pounds.

Exterior Facelift
