The next RAM 2500 and 3500HD trucks will surely remain one of the finest models in the heavy-duty segment. According to reports, no rivals in the heavy-duty truck industry will be able to compete with the 2023 RAM HD models. Of course, Chevy and Ford provide excellent heavy-duty beasts as well. RAM, on the other hand, excels in areas such as cabin sophistication and better ride quality.
These trucks offer a spacious cabin as well as a massive hauling capability of up to 37,000 pounds. There’s no shortage of technology within the cabin, with both variants including a 12.0-inch touchscreen. RAM stated that the HD truck lineup will be ready at some point later in 2022.
RAM HD Redesign
The next generation of RAM HD pickups, due in 2023, will be sleeker and more akin to the RAM 1500. It has a split grille and directed LED headlights. Furthermore, the 2023 RAM HD should include many different grilles, so basically, each trim level will have a unique front grille.
The off-road-oriented Power Wagon, for example, has a sharper grille and more aesthetic components. The RAM 3500 has a choice of single or twin rear wheels, while RAM 2500 does not have this option. Interior Changes

Engine Lineup Remains
The forthcoming 2023 RAM HD is available with three different powertrains. The basic engine is a 6.4-liter gasoline V8 with 410 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque. With four-wheel drive only, this engine is coupled with an exceptional eight-speed automatic transmission. An optional turbodiesel Cummins engine with a rear- or four-wheel-drive system is offered in a variety of configurations. As a result, both the RAM 2500 and RAM 3500 models will produce 370 horsepower and up to 850 lb-ft of torque.
The next one is only available on the 3500 model and produces 400 horsepower and 1075 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. With the Cummins engine, the new RAM 3500 can tow around 37,000 pounds. With the standard gasoline V8, the RAM HD has a towing capacity of 14,500 pounds.
2023 RAM HD Price and Release Date
As for the starting price, the new 2023 RAM HD will cost around $36,500. This is the price of the base RAM 2500HD, while the RAM 3500HD will cost you an additional $1,000 or slightly more. The sales will begin at some point in 2022, most likely in the third quarter of the year.
