After dramatic upgrades on the 2023 Ford F-250, the 2024 Ford F-250 is ready for further improvements. Despite the most recent overhaul, several publications already foresee interesting changes. Blue Oval will introduce new colors, including new interior schemes. Although the heavy-duty market is more well-liked than ever, the F-250 model continues to dominate numerous categories.
Our knowledge indicates that the engine lineup will not change. Given that the F-250 truck offers a gasoline V8 and a highly dependable turbodiesel engine, it is the only logical conclusion. On the other side, Blue Oval carmaker could offer additional strength, albeit this is currently only a rumor.
Minor Facelift is On the Way
As we have stated, the 2023MY will be redesigned. A complete makeover will be among the significant upgrades. So, we anticipate new front fascia, wheels, and taillights. The upcoming 2024 Ford F-250 won’t be a carryover, though. Instead, this heavy-duty variant will receive further improvements. According to reports, Ford intends to introduce new exterior paints. However, popular colors will remain, so we only expect a wider color palette.
The F-250 Super Duty will, however, increase the uniqueness of each trim level. Thanks to that, it will be easier to set them apart, but new trim levels are not happening yet. The new truck will gain more aluminum, so the new version will be slightly lighter than the outgoing model.
Ford F-250 Interior Upgrades
Interior renovations are not as substantial. However, the interior of the 2024 Ford F-250 will introduce new color schemes. Currently, this heavy-duty model offers three different variants. We don’t know if Ford intends to discontinue any of them or just give buyers more options. The driverless Blue Cruise technology is another enigma.
Blue Cruise is Ford’s most recent hands-free driving technology, just like Super Cruise from General Motors. Ford will presumably only make it available in the top-tier trim levels of the heavy-duty lineup. The layout and design of the cabin won’t change, reportedly. Of course, additional high-tech features and improved infotainment are on the way, along with the latest safety systems.
Powertrain Specs
The upcoming 2024 Ford F-250 offers a potent turbodiesel engine. It is an optional engine, and definitely, the best choice, especially if you want to use this truck for hauling and towing. It is a 6.7-liter Power Stroke engine with 475 hp and up to 1050 lb-ft of torque. As standard, there is a 7.3-liter V8 gasoline powertrain.
With 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of twists, it is the most potent petrol engine in the heavy-duty segment. On the other hand, we don’t know if the 6.2-liter V8 engine with 385 horses and 430 lb-ft of torque will remain in the lineup. No matter what happens, the new engine is not happening and a 10-speed automatic transmission will be available once again.
2024 Ford F-250 Release Date, Cost
The new model will cost around $37,000, according to reliable reports. The 2024 Ford F-250 will gain a couple of upgrades, but nothing significant will happen. The sales should begin next year, most likely in summer, although this is not official yet.
