Significant improvement will be made to the upcoming 2024 Ford F-350 truck. The new truck’s exterior is noticeably more appealing than the previous one, even though the underpinnings are apparently the same. The recently spotted vehicle is dressed in a thin camo with a visible grille, a newly formed headlamp, and running lights. Along with the design, we anticipate certain cabin modifications, such as improved electronics and higher-quality materials.
We do not anticipate upgrades under the hood, so customers will have the same engine options as before. This Super Duty truck offers two gasoline engines and a single diesel variant. Whatever the case, Ford might tune engines to generate more power, but new engines are not on the horizon.
Ford F-350 Engine Specs
The next 2024 Ford F-350 will not provide new powertrain options. This is a perfectly reasonable outcome, as the truck already provides an impressive engine lineup. The lineup includes two gasoline engines and there is also an optional diesel unit. For a start, the base 6.2-liter V8 petrol engine generates 385 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque. There is also an optional 7.3-liter V8 gasoline variant, developing up to 430 hp and 475 lb-ft of torque.
Lastly, Blue Oval offers a very potent 6.7-liter V8 diesel powertrain. This diesel engine can produce 475 horsepower and a torque of 1050 lb-ft, which is quite impressive. As we said, Ford could provide more power to its Super Duty lineup of trucks. Still, no new engines are planned, including some sort of hybrid powertrain.
Interior Improvements
In terms of cabin upgrades, the 2024 Ford F-350 will continue with improvements. This particular truck is one of the roomiest in the heavy-duty segment. However, Ram is currently offering a slightly better interior. It is a matter of choice actually, as the F-350 model is also a very modern and upright truck. The base trim level provides an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen as standard.
Moreover, you can get a premium B&O sound system, Wi-Fi hotspot, and more via a list of optional features. The upper trim levels are available with a larger 12-inch touchscreen, using SYNC4 infotainment with wireless phone integrations. A new model should include more safety aids, a longer list of standard equipment, and probably a new tech package.
Spy Shots Showing the Latest Redesign
The new 2024 Ford F-350 spy photos show some substantial modifications. We noted a new front fascia with an open grille on the captured prototype, albeit it is still in the early stages of development. In addition, Blue Oval improved the design of the most recent model and added additional stacked headlamps and running lights in the style of brackets.
The lower front fascia is also updated, which now has pronounced fog lights. We also spotted new wheels. The F-350’s taillights are identical to those on the previous model but have undergone some minor changes.
