Exterior Redesign

The interior of the 2024 Ford Ranger is getting important updates. We are talking about the US-spec model, as the competition is tougher there than in Australia. The goal is to offer a more competitive interior, with additional high-tech features and more upright materials. Thanks to that, interior upgrades are more significant than those on the outside.
The new architecture should provide even better ride quality. On the other hand, we don’t know if anything will change in terms of the truck’s dimensions. In any case, Ranger will be a spacious model. A 12.1-inch touchscreen is on the way, and we also expect to see additional driver-assistance aids.

The 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine will be standard once again. This unit is providing 270 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque. Moreover, it uses a 10-speed automatic transmission. From what we know, the 2024 Ford Ranger could gain more power, but this is not official yet. There is also a high-performance Ford Ranger Raptor truck. This variant is using a 3.0-liter V6, producing up to 400 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of twisting power.
We don’t know if Blue Oval plans to improve the Raptor model as well. With more power, Ranger will be more competitive, that’s for sure. However, one thing could be a game-changer and it is an all-electric Ranger. Not so long ago, Blue Oval trademarked the “Ranger Lightning” name, which means the fully electrified Ranger could be on the way.

The price of the upcoming 2024 Ford Ranger should start at around $26,000. It is a reasonable price hike, as numerous updates are on the way. The US-spec Ranger will hit the markets next fall. Again, this model will also reach the Australian shores at the same time.
