The 2024 Holden Colorado will introduce a lot of upgrades, reportedly. This model is very popular in Australia, which is not a surprise. It is a reliable model with so much to offer. The Holden Colorado is a mid-size pickup truck, and while it will gain a new platform, its dimensions will not change significantly.
Colorado was originally introduced in 2004 and has gone through several updates and redesigns since then. It is currently in its third generation, which was introduced in 2020. Colorado is available in a variety of trim levels and configurations, and it is known for its ruggedness, towing capability, and versatility.
Holden Colorado Engine Specs
Perhaps a new engine is on the way. Every time an architecture is modified or a new generation is introduced, automakers, including Holden, often provide a new powerplant. Because of this, the next 2024 Holden Colorado will undoubtedly have greater power. Currently, Colorado pickup trucks are equipped with an optional 2.8-liter diesel engine. It can deliver 200 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque.
The standard engine only generates 200 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. The best choice is a 3.6-liter gasoline engine, which is an optional one. This powerful V6 engine generates 270 lb-ft of torque and well over 300 horsepower. Colorado will once again be offered with an optional AWD system and a sleek eight-speed automatic transmission. We don’t know if Holden plans to introduce a hybrid variant anytime soon.
Cabin Upgrades
Numerous cabin improvements are in the works. As a consequence, the 2024 Holden Colorado will get a new interior appearance, more modern components, and safety aids. The seating arrangement will stay the same, though. It’s likely that the cab arrangements and trim levels won’t change, although this hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Colorado pickup will without a doubt continue to rank among Australia’s upmarket pickups. Unquestionably, a new model will appear better than an older one. There will be more comfort and more basic features inside. New designs may be seen on the instrument panel and dashboard. A new, bigger touchscreen will also be available, although it will be optional.
New Platform, New Styling

Given the revised design of the taillights, the back should receive a similar makeover. 2024 Holden Colorado Release Date and Price
The price of the new 2024 Holden Colorado will be slightly higher than it is now. We expect a starting price of around $34,000. The sales will begin next fall, and we are hoping to hear more details in the following weeks.
