First spy shots of the upcoming 2024 Mitsubishi Triton are leaked online. Unfortunately, the new pickup is carefully hidden, but it didn’t stop us from noticing a lot of modifications. For a start, it appears that the prototype that was captured is following Outlander’s lead. It has the same huge grille with turn signals built into the daytime running lights on either side. Additionally updated are the headlamps, which now sit lower and have additional chrome trim.
Under the hood, the Triton model should introduce the same plug-in hybrid powertrain that powers the Mitsubishi Outlander SUV. Thanks to that, a 2.4-liter engine with a pair of electric motors is on the way, including a battery pack. The Triton truck will provide higher fuel efficiency, which is one of the most important upgrades in recent years.
Mitsubishi Triton Redesign
The new 2024 Mitsubishi Triton prototype is sadly heavily camouflaged in the most recent spy pictures, which are also publicly available. The front fascia looks new and shares a lot of design cues with the Outlander PHEV variant. Daytime running lights are on either side of the same large grille.
New headlamps were also present, however, it is considerably smaller than those on the most recent Outlander. On top of that, it seems the back of the Triton truck wears a new tailgate and new tail lamps. We expect to see new exterior colors as well, along with the brand-new wheels.
Interior Refreshments
The next 2024 Mitsubishi Triton will provide more comfort and a ton of new technology inside. Unfortunately, the prototype that was discovered is carefully camouflaged and conceals the modifications. According to the information that is currently accessible, the upcoming truck will presumably feature a new interior.
Since the seating arrangement won’t alter, there should be space for up to five persons. Mitsubishi will deliver a new version of the infotainment system, and it will offer Wi-Fi as an option.
