There have been numerous reports about the Montana pickup truck’s comeback over the past few years. Finally confirmed, the 2024 Chevy Montana will be on the road next year. Chevrolet just revealed a teaser of the upcoming pickup truck, and the new vehicle is now in the development process.
It will be available for purchase in South America as a small pickup. The Montana pickup will provide lots of exciting things. It will be a smaller fun-to-drive model with solid performances and quite a nice and comfortable interior.
Engine Options
The next 2024 Chevy Montana will be manufactured on a new GEM architecture. The Chevy Tracker and Chevy Onix are supported by an expanded version of the same platform. The platform also strongly supports a 1.2-liter engine with 135 horsepower, even though the engine lineup is not yet known.
That is more than sufficient for a small truck like Montana. Fortunately, there will be a choice of powertrains. According to certain speculations, the hybrid drivetrain will have 250 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. Since Montana serves as a model for markets in South America, the truck will perform admirably well.
Chevy Montana Redesign
The upcoming 2024 Chevy Montana is still a mystery when it comes to exterior design. The silhouette that has been teased recently depicts a truck with a crew cab layout. It will be a tiny pickup truck and its design is based on the new Chevy Blazer model. The front fascia is where you can see Blazer’s influence, although other components also exhibit it.
The cargo bed in the back is distinctive. Furthermore, a superb gloss-black trim connects the LED taillights, which are also mounted higher. Together with the bigger back window, the rear section will also sport larger CHEVROLET lettering, which is an easy way to recognize a new Montana pickup.
Interior Refreshments
Currently, the biggest uncertainty surrounds the interior of the 2024 Chevy Montana. Chevrolet could deliver a lot of surprises. Moreover, the automotive brand won’t be releasing a completely new interior, and Montana will likely use many components from other models. However, Montana won’t offer as much comfort as a Silverado 1500 pickup, or the Blazer SUV.
Nevertheless, it will have a very modern interior with good interior space and a few fresh high-tech amenities. Although we do not yet know if it is the only cab setup provided, the crew cab option will be available. 2024 Chevy Montana Release Date and Price
The all-new 2024 Chevy Montana will reportedly go on sale in the last quarter of 2023. However, the first quarter of 2024 is also a very likely outcome. This small pickup will hit the dealerships in South America and it will cost $20,000. There will be numerous trim levels and the most expensive variant will exceed $30,000 with ease.
